08.-10.11. Practicing Humanities and social Sciences in Management Education
Chris Steyaert is together with Timon Beyes, Leuphana Unviersity Lüneberg and Jörg Metelmann, University of St. Gallen, convenor of this workshop at the University of St. Gallen.The event is supported by the Geschwister Horstmann Foundation and the Haniel Foundation which recently launched the European programme in Entrepreneurship and the Humanities, featuring a collaboration on this theme between the University of St Gallen and the Copenhagen Business School.

03.-07.08. Best division paper at Academy of Management Annual Meeting, Boston, USA
Maddy Janssens and Chris Steyaert received for their paper, "The possibilities of cosmopolitanism and postcolonalism for an ethical stance on international HRM", the best paper award of the division Critical Management Studies at the Academy of Management Symposium.
Furthermore:
Chris Steyaert was invited speaker at the Professional Development Workshops on "Integrating liberal learning and business education: Putting the Carnegie Report into practice" and "Language in International Management Research".
Pascal Dey and Chris Steyaert: " 'Why not rob that myth?' Toward a study of demystification of social entrepreneurship from below".
