Women in leadership roles occupy a unique position in the gender-equality scenarios within organisations. Due to their responsible and prominent position, they are confronted with various quite stressful gender-specific problems and disadvantages, thus possibly creating anxiety about increasing the proportion of women in the long term. Also, in their role-model function vis-a-vis younger women, it is important to support women leaders with targeted offers to help them develop psychologically sustainable work and leadership practices – and thus anchor them more securely in the corporate culture.
