A core reason for women’s being under-represented in leadership positions continues to be their primary responsibility for so-called care work. That responsibility seriously impacts their employment and career development – and this also applies to men with care responsibilities. Facilitating work-life integration for women – and sometimes for men – is therefore indispensable for achieving equality.
