Doctoral research at OPSY is embedded in the programme Organization and Culture (DOC), which offers research opportunities in the field of Organization Studies through a multi- and interdisciplinary set up where students can develop problematiztions from Organizational Psychology and Organization Studies and ground their projects through drawing upon approaches from the Social Sciences and Humanities.
We are especially open for doctoral research projects that depart from actual problems in the intersection of organization and society and that inquire the consequences - possibilities and limits - for individuals' (work) lives. Research projects have to be grounded in actual academic debates, enacted in empirical designs and aim at contributing to theoretical debates in the form of conference participation and journal publication.
OPSY collaborates with oikos to develop research projects that are especially oriented at relating themes of organization with issues of ecological and social change.
Doctoral students who are interested in pursuing research are requested to apply with their CV, a letter of motivation and a first research proposal of 5-10 pages
