Gender dialogues

Our project revealed that women and men have quite diverging views on gender equality within their workplaces. Unfortunately, there is often inadequate communication about this issue. To address this, we have created institutionalized gender dialogues. These dialogues allow women and men to discuss their differing perceptions of gender equality. Some topics that are covered include:

  • What are women's perspectives on their opportunities for advancement within the company?
  • What are the obstacles hindering women to advance?
  • What are their male colleagues and employees experiences?
  • Where do they stand up for equality and where do they remain silent?

Our short films serve as a usefull tool for starting discussions, such as during team meetings.They provide important background information and share the findings of our study on the commitment of male managers to equality. They are in German with English subtitles.
