The HSG Care Team offers members of the University of St.Gallen prompt support after potentially traumatic events, such as serious accidents, sudden deaths or boundary violations. Psychologists and chaplains offer psychological first aid for this purpose and accompany those affected in processing the events or help in shaping and coping with complex mourning pro-cesses.

The coordination of internal HSG communication as well as the implementation of HSG Care Team measures is ensured by close cooperation between employees of Infrastructure and Real Estate, Human Resources, Communications, the Prorectorate for Studies and Teaching, the Prorectorate for External Relations as well as the student body.

The HSG Care Team is subordinate to the blue-light organizations. In an acute case, it is therefore important that you contact a blue-light organization immediately:

  • Police: 117
  • Fire department: 118
  • Ambulance: 114

If you need assistance in addition to the external emergency organizations, the HSG Security Team can be reached 24 hours a day, 365 days a year via the internal emergency number 3333 (from outside +41 71 224 33 33).

Fatality Reportingexpand_less

In the event of the death of an HSG family member (student or employee), the HSG Care Team takes over internal HSG communication and ensures that all relevant persons are informed and involved to a sufficient extent.

If you have knowledge of the death of an HSG relative, a brief note to the email below and how we can best reach you will suffice.
