Have you or another HSG member experienced a potentially traumatic situation?
The HSG Care Team offers members of the University of St.Gallen prompt support after potentially traumatic events, for example after serious accidents, sudden deaths or border violations. Psychologists and chaplains of the University of St.Gallen offer immediate psychological first aid and support for those affected by the event or help with the organization and management of complex grieving processes.
The coordination of HSG-internal communication and the implementation of HSG Care Team measures is ensured by the close cooperation between the teams of Real Estate, Human Resources and Communication, the Vice-President's Board for Studies & Academic Affairs, the Vice-President's Board for Innovation & Quality and the Student Union.
The HSG Care Team is not a rescue service per se. In an emergency, it is therefore important that you contact an emergency organization immediately:
If you need support in addition to the external emergency organizations, the HSG security team can be contacted 24 hours a day, 365 days a year via the internal emergency number 3333 (from outside +41 71 224 33 33).
In the event of the death of a student or staff member of the University of St.Gallen, the HSG Care Team will take care of internal HSG communication and ensure that all relevant persons are informed and involved to a sufficient extent.
If you are aware of the death of an HSG relative, please send a short message to the e-mail address below and let us know how we can contact you best.
